مشكلة الأكراد والحملة التركية
تمخضت الحملة التركية على الأكراد عن اجتياح دولة لحدود دولة أخرى مجاورة وهو ما يعتبر إلى جانب كونه انتهاكاً لسيادة العراق تهديداً لوحدة العراق الأمر الذي قد ينعكس بآثار بالغة الخطورة على المنطقة. ومع ذلك لم يتحرك أحد لا الدول الكبرى ولا المنظمات الدولية ولعل الدول الكبرى نفسها كان لها دور كبير في إحداث الفراغ السياسي والعسكري في هذه المنطقة بإصدار قرار مجلس الأمن الذي أقر أن عدم احترام حقوق الإنسان والأخذ بالتعددية باعتبارهما من شؤون حفظ السلام والأمن يبرر التدخل لإعادة الأمور إلى نصابها وعلى هذا تم إنشاء مناطق حماية شمال العراق وجنوبه سميت بالملاذ الآمن الأمر الذي جعل هذه المناطق بمثابة فراغ سياسي سعت تركيا لملئه.
وعلى المستوى الدولي أعلنت الولايات الأمريكية تأييدها للحملة التركية باعتبارها عملاً مشروعاً ضد تنظيم إرهابي. بينما عارضت دول الاتحاد الأوروبي العملية العسكرية وطالبت تركيا بإنهائها على وجه السرعة وإعادة النظر في القوانين التركية الخاصة بحقوق الإنسان كما هددت دول الاتحاد بتجميد الاتفاق الجمركي مع تركيا وتجميد عضويتها في البرلمان الأوروبي.
ولعل أكثر الأمور لفتاً للنظر هو الموقف العراقي الصامت أثناء الحملة العسكرية وكانت العمليات تدور على أراضي دولة أخرى وهو ما فسره البعض بوجود تنسيق تركي عراقي مرتبط بالحملة رغم نفي العراق لذلك انطلاقاً من المكاسب التي يمكن أن يحققها العراق من وراء هذه الحملة وأهمها السيطرة على المناطق التي يمر بها خط أنابيب البترول العراقي عبر تركيا وتكتمل الحلقة حول الأكراد بإعلان إيران إغلاق حدودها مع شمال العراق قرب مثلث خوا كورك بناء على طلب أنقره لمنع مقاتلي حزب العمال من التسلل عبر الحدود إلى إيران ويبدو أن العراق وإيران وتركيا قد يختلفون في كل شيء عدا مسألة مواجهة الأكراد.
The problem of the Kurds and the Turkish campaign

Perhaps the most striking of the Iraqi position is silent during the campaign and the military operations were taking place on the territory of another State, which some interpreted the presence of Turkish-Iraqi coordination is linked to the campaign, despite Iraq"s denials that the basis of the gains can be achieved from the Iraq campaign, the most important control of the areas experienced by the Iraqi oil pipeline through Turkey and the Kurds on the completion of the seminar announcement by Iran to close its border with northern Iraq, near the triangle Khwa Cork at Ankara"s request to prevent the PKK from infiltrating across the border into Iran, it appears that Iraq, Iran and Turkey may disagree on everything except the question of face Kurds.
