التدخل الأردني في قضايا ساخنة
إن الهدف الأردني رفع المعاناة عن الشعب الفلسطيني وتثبيت السكان في الضفة الغربية وأن التحرك يرتكز أساساً على ثوابت أساسية لا يمكن التراجع عنها أو التفريط بها وهي أن الأردن لا يمكن أن ينفرد بالتحدث عن الموضوع الفلسطيني وأن القدس جزء لا يتجزأ من المطالبة بالانسحاب الكامل من الأرض المحتلة وأن أي اتفاق للسلام لابد أن يتضمن الانسحاب من القدس وأنه لا يمكن إغفال الأحداث التي تتصاعد يوماً بعد يوم فهي تأتي في فترة تعمل إسرائيل فيها على فرض سياسة الأمر الواقع قد يدعم مركزها عند حدوث مفاوضات نهائية نتيجة الموقف الأمريكي فهو غير حازم بالنسبة للسياسات الإسرائيلية فهو يدين التوسع الاستيطاني ولكن دون اتخاذ أي إجراءات مقالة ضده وتكون الولايات المتحدة باستمرار على أهمية المصالح الأمنية والاقتصادية بالنسبة لإسرائيل وتؤيدها سواء كانت داخلية أو خارجية وبالرغم من كل ذلك فإن هناك بعض من الدول الأوروبية أبدت معارضة للمبادرة الأردنية في البداية وخاصة فيما يتعلق بتمويل مبالغ عن طريق الأردن أما السلطة الوطنية الفلسطينية أعلنت أنها لا تعارض الخطة الأردنية للتطوير والتنمية وطالما تؤدي في النهاية إلى تخفيف حدة المعاناة عن السكان وأن المبادرة الأردنية والتي تحمل عنوان التنمية بهدف الموازنة بين اقتصاديات الأراضي المحتلة والأردن بهدف التكامل بينها وأنها تأتي تخوفاً من مشروع إسرائيلي يبحث عن تمويل دولي وتسفر عن تدعيم الوجود الإسرائيلي وترى أن الخطة لا تعتبر بديلاً لتحقيق تسوية عادلة ودائمة للقضية الفلسطينية.
إذن فالظروف والأحداث التي تحيط بالمبادرة من ظروف سياسية محيطة ومصادر هشة وغير مؤكدة للتمويل توحي بأنها لن تجد فرصتها الكاملة في التطبيق وأنها تهدف إلى كسب بعض التأييد من سكان الأراضي المحتلة خصوصاً بعد إطلاعات الرأي في الضفة والقطاع والتي أظهرت أن القيادة الأردنية تحظى بتأييد الغالبية العظمى من سكان هذه الأراضي والتي أظهرت أيضاً نوعا من الاستياء والانتقادات لسياسة المعارضين وقراراتهم تجاه المبادرة الأردنية.
